These Terms of Use apply to PDFScanner Neo and PDFScanner Neo Pro, provided by Felix Rotthowe.

By downloading, installing, purchasing, subscribing to, or using PDFScanner Neo, you agree to these Terms of Use and to Apple’s applicable App Store terms. PDFScanner Neo is licensed, not sold, under Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement unless a separate written agreement applies.

1. PDFScanner Neo
   PDFScanner Neo is an app for scanning paper documents into PDF files using supported network scanners or the built-in device camera. The app can create, process, organize, export, and share PDF documents.
2. PDFScanner Neo Pro
   PDFScanner Neo Pro is an optional paid subscription that unlocks advanced features, such as OCR, deskew, Smart Save, save presets, advanced filename automation, sharing/export workflows, compact PDF options, automatic blank page removal, and other Pro features shown in the app.
   
   The available subscriptions are:
   Neo Pro Monthly: monthly auto-renewable subscription
   Neo Pro Yearly: yearly auto-renewable subscription
   
   Both subscriptions unlock the same PDFScanner Neo Pro feature set during the active subscription period.
3. Subscription Billing and Renewal
   Subscriptions are purchased through Apple’s In-App Purchase system
   
   Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. Your Apple Account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
   
   You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account subscription settings. If you cancel, access to PDFScanner Neo Pro remains available until the end of the current paid period.
   
   Prices are shown in the App Store purchase sheet before purchase and may vary by country, region, taxes, and currency. Refund requests are handled by Apple according to Apple’s policies.
4. Family Sharing
   If Family Sharing is available for your subscription and enabled through Apple, eligible family members may be able to access PDFScanner Neo Pro according to Apple’s Family Sharing rules.
5. Privacy
   PDFScanner Neo is designed to process documents locally on your device unless you explicitly export, share, or otherwise send a document elsewhere.

6. Supported Scanners and Device Requirements
   Network scanner support depends on scanner compatibility, network configuration, and AirScan/eSCL support. Camera scanning depends on device capabilities and system permissions.
7. Acceptable Use
   You agree to use PDFScanner Neo only for lawful purposes and only with documents and content you are allowed to scan, process, store, export, or share.
8. Changes to the App and Pro Features
   PDFScanner Neo may change over time. Features may be added, modified, renamed, or removed as the app develops. Active subscribers will continue to receive access to the current PDFScanner Neo Pro feature set during their active subscription period.
9. No Warranty
   PDFScanner Neo is provided “as is” and “as available” to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for every scanner, document type, workflow, or legal archiving requirement.
10. Limitation of Liability
    To the maximum extent permitted by law, Felix Rotthowe is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, documents, profits, or business opportunities arising from the use of PDFScanner Neo.
